More About Noah

I  moved to the mountains of Northern China in 2005 to study Kung Fu, Tai Chi and Chi Gong. So began my professional fitness journey.  While living in China, I spent a lot of time recovering from injuries I incurred there through improper kung-fu instruction.  With the nearest doctor an hour away, I spent a lot of my recovery time reading books about sports injuries, physical rehabilitation, and the field of kinesiology, which is the study of physical movement.

When I returned to the U.S., I graduated from college in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, specializing in exercise physiology, sports nutrition and wellness. During my senior year, I began sharing my knowledge through personal fitness training and teaching yoga.

I’ve struggled with controlling my weight my entire adult life. So I began my training career helping others to overcome their issues with weight through fitness. As my business grew and my clientele developed, I began applying my fitness training to help people recover from injuries, as well as offering fitness training for seniors.

I currently serve as the fitness manager at Rossmoor in Walnut Creek, California, northern California’s largest community for active senior adults.  My clientele now entirely consists of seniors who want to improve their lives through fitness training.  I also lead three weekly vinyasa and two yin yoga classes, and I continue to study yoga as a healing art. In fact, I recently completed a certification to teach prenatal yoga, and I’m about to embark on studying for a Masters of Science in Clinical Therapeutic Yoga at Maryland University of Integrative Health.  I love my work, and I’m excited about deepening my knowledge and practice of yoga to share what I learn with my clients.
